Mind Full or Mindful?

There is a lot to be said for practicing mindfulness, it boosts creativity, enables you to let go of fears and anxiety, it increases motivation and increases your energy and vitality.

Being mindful means living in the present, enjoying the moment, whatever that moment is. If your mind is distracted and your thoughts are all over the place, you will not have the energy to deal with what is important or the challenges of daily life. Most importantly you will be missing what is happening in your life right now.

If you are constantly feeling frustrated, angry and stressed over things that have happened in the past or worried about things that haven’t even happened in the future, you cannot be fully engaged with what is happening in the present.

There are some things in life that just cannot be avoided and sometimes they are unpleasant, or just difficult to manage, but you have the power to control how you deal with them and how you respond in difficult situations.

Reiki is a simple, gentle way to help you achieve mindfulness. It calms the mind, relaxes the body and takes you to a deep level of peace. By choosing to book a Reiki treatment you will be taking the first step to mindfulness.

If you would like to be in control when that fight or flight instinct kicks in, and would like to achieve a greater sense of wellbeing, Reiki can help and I would be privileged to share it with you. A 60 minute full body Reiki treatment is all you need to kick start your journey into mindfulness.
